Gene Halavanau successfully represents plaintiffs in personal injury and employment litigation matters. Before starting his practice, he worked with various firms representing plaintiffs in insurance bad faith and personal injury cases. Having worked in multiple industries and coming from a diverse multicultural background, Gene understands the challenges of an everyday life. He takes pride in helping people from different walks of life. Gene’s pro bono assistance to asylum seekers reflects his life philosophy of helping those who needs it the most. Gene is a member of the Bar Association of San Francisco. He is a Vice-Chair of the Membership Committee of the Business Networking International group called Motivators and a board member of the San Francisco Toastmasters Club Sierra Speakers. Prior to obtaining his JD degree from UC Hastings in 2009, he studied law in Eastern Europe and Germany. During his spare time, Gene likes to explore different cultures and attend spiritual retreats.
